About Rekava

We help African businesses see their money clearly.

Rekava cleans, matches and explains payment records so any business always knows who paid, who hasn't, and what its cash position really is.

Why we exist

Across Ghana and the wider continent, payments have gone digital but reconciliation has not. A bursar still spends the first week of term matching fee payments by hand. A shop owner scrolls through MoMo messages trying to remember who paid. The money moved instantly — understanding it still takes days.

Rekava closes that gap. We take the messy reality of how African businesses get paid and turn it into a clear, trustworthy picture of cash flow — fast enough to act on.

What we believe

Built for how Africa actually gets paid

MoMo, bank transfers, cash, cards, cross-border remittances — all in one place. We start from the payment records businesses already keep, not from a system they have to switch to.

Trust before automation

AI matches payments, but a human stays in control. Every uncertain match is shown with its evidence and a confidence score. Nothing is hidden, and history can't be edited.

One platform, six business types

A school, a clinic, an SME and a restaurant don't think the same way. Rekava reshapes its terminology, modules and dashboards to match each one.

Where we are

Rekava is built in Accra, Ghana, and is onboarding its first cohort of pilot organisations — schools, clinics, SMEs, associations, traders and restaurants. We work hand-in-hand with bursars, finance officers and business owners so the product fits the real job.
